Diaphragm

Dinorex UTG™ is an ideal material for speaker diaphragms. Its combination of thinness and rigidity enables faster sound propagation, while its durability ensures it can withstand vibrations effectively.
Features
-
Vibration resistant
High strength enables it to withstand vibrations effectively. -
Faster sound propagation
The high Young's modulus, thinness, and lightweight properties allow for quick sound propagation. -
Proper damping
Compared to metal diaphragms and other materials, it reduces unwanted natural sound that is perceptible to the ear. -
Excellent durability
Outstanding resistance to water and heat. -
Less susceptible to moisture
Unlike conventional diaphragms made of paper or resin, this diaphragm is less affected by moisture, allowing for powerful low-frequency sound.
Specifications
GAIT (Glass Acoustic Innovations Co., Ltd.) in Taiwan is utilizing cutting-edge technology to develop speaker components— glass diaphragms made from Dinorex UTG™. These diaphragms offer wider frequency range, such as 60kHz. The high-quality glass material is leveraged to deliver precise sound reproduction.
Thickness: 35 to 300μm
Material: Dinorex UTG™ (ultra-thin glass for chemical strengthening)
Processing technology: 3D molding technology (patented by GAIT)

What is Dinorex UTG™?
Dinorex UTG™ is ultra-thin glass for chemical strengthening, developed for cover glass for foldable displays. It features excellent bending properties, thanks to its high surface smoothness and uniform thickness, and can be bent to a diameter of 3mm (R1.5).
