Diaphragm

Glass diaphragm designed for wide frequency range

Dinorex UTG™ is an ideal material for speaker diaphragms. Its combination of thinness and rigidity enables faster sound propagation, while its durability ensures it can withstand vibrations effectively.

Features

  • Vibration resistant
High strength enables it to withstand vibrations effectively.
  • Faster sound propagation
The high Young's modulus, thinness, and lightweight properties allow for quick sound propagation.
  • Proper damping
Compared to metal diaphragms and other materials, it reduces unwanted natural sound that is perceptible to the ear.
  • Excellent durability
Outstanding resistance to water and heat.
  • Less susceptible to moisture
Unlike conventional diaphragms made of paper or resin, this diaphragm is less affected by moisture, allowing for powerful low-frequency sound.

Specifications

GAIT (Glass Acoustic Innovations Co., Ltd.) in Taiwan is utilizing cutting-edge technology to develop speaker components— glass diaphragms made from Dinorex UTG™. These diaphragms offer wider frequency range, such as 60kHz. The high-quality glass material is leveraged to deliver precise sound reproduction.

Thickness: 35 to 300μm
